Job summary

Palm Harbor Homes in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead HUD-compliant QA across the manufactured home production process. You will oversee quality standards and drive continuous improvement to ensure every home meets design and regulatory expectations.

You will set performance benchmarks, supervise QC staff, coordinate with design, engineering and production, maintain documentation, and lead safety and training initiatives to keep the plant compliant and efficient.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality control experience in manufactured home industry preferred.
• Experience with HUD regulatory code and construction standards preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting 40+ pounds and handling tools daily.
• High school diploma with broad understanding of fabrication/manufacturing processes.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control and HUD regulatory programs for the plant.
• Ensure homes meet HUD compliance before labeling.
• Assemble cost control and statistical data.
• Conduct daily audits to ensure code and quality compliance.
• Train and guide production supervisors and line workers.
• Maintain inspection documentation and reporting.
