Job summary

Southcoast Health seeks a Health Unit Coordinator for Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. This per diem role supports nursing units with efficient office and secretarial functions, ensuring smooth daily activities and patient-focused services.

Responsibilities include coordinating ancillary services, equipment/supply requests, and assisting leadership as directed. Minimum high school completion with related experience is required; vaccination per policy applies.

Qualifications

• Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
• Computer skills including knowledge of the Meditech computer system and related secretarial experience are preferred.
• Over three months up to and including one year of related work experience.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

We are searching for a talented HUC

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day/Evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation; 7:00am - 7:30pm, 7:00am - 3:30pm, 3:00pm - 11:30pm; 48 hours within a 6 week schedule period. This includes two weekend shifts, one major summer and one major winter holiday.

USD $17.86 - USD $25.71 /Hr.
