Job summary

UPS in Salt Lake City is seeking a proactive supervisor to oversee Package Handlers, train teams, and uphold safety, production, and attendance standards.

You will promote a positive, team‑oriented work environment, enforce safety policies, ensure accuracy and efficiency, and develop staff through coaching and orientation.

This on‑site role requires strong communication, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and the ability to lift 70 lbs in a fast paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent – Preferred: Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Package Handlers and train, develop, and hold workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement and proactive communication.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA requirements and maintain high standards of productivity and accuracy.
• Implement personal development plans and provide orientation and coaching to staff.
• Manage department resources to maximize output and efficiency.
