Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Hub Inventory Specialist to manage hub orders and inventory, coordinate with stores, Hubs, and suppliers. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with store systems and basic parts knowledge to fulfill orders, stage products, and complete paperwork while maintaining strong communication with drivers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must be competent at oral and written communications and handle basic math computations.
• Prior retail experience including basic merchandising and inventory management skills.
• Able to drive forklift if certified and use a hand truck and pallet jack.
• Scheduling factors require availability on short notice and flexibility including nights and weekends.
• Immediately report policy violations to General Manager or District Leader.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Hub operations and resolution of Hub orders in a timely manner.
• Review Hub orders, pulling parts, stage product, finalize paperwork.
• Interact with drivers on paperwork and instructions.
• Engage store to facility network to determine sourcing and logistics options.
• Work with GM, DL and SSC support for inventory mix and levels.
• Maintain inventory accuracy including cycle counts, outages, planograms and price changes.
• Manage Hub records and paperwork policies and procedures.
• Assist with Overstock, Callbacks, Resets and core/defects as needed.
• Safely deliver parts to customers when required.
• Support front room inventory functions and standard cleanliness.
