Hitachi Energy is seeking a HUB Category Manager to lead sourcing strategies and drive value across key categories for resilient, sustainable, and cost-effective supply chains.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams to align category plans with business objectives and to optimize costs, lead times, and risk across a global footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 7+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain roles.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategy, supplier management and contract negotiations.
• Experience influencing stakeholders in a global environment.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision skills; certifications preferred.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategy development, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations.
• Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and leading cross-functional collaboration in a global environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with experience leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are preferred.
