Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Strategic Procurement Lead to drive high-value sourcing initiatives and build strong supplier partnerships. You will shape procurement strategies to support operational excellence and sustainable growth across engineering, manufacturing, finance, and legal functions.

In this role, you will lead RFI/RFP processes, negotiate complex agreements, monitor supplier performance, and mentor the procurement team to foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering).
• 7+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Proven success in supplier negotiations and cost savings.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and global sourcing.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.

• Demonstrated success leading supplier negotiations and delivering sustainable cost savings.

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and global sourcing practices.

• Experience with procurement systems such as SAP Ariba, Oracle, or similar platforms, along with advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
