Job summary

Chobani is seeking an HTST Operator to lead pasteurization during the shift, ensuring equipment is functioning and documentation is accurate. A clean, well-maintained work area and strict GMP adherence are essential.

Responsibilities include safe operation, precise charting, CIP validation, QA sampling, and collaboration with maintenance, QA, and production teams to troubleshoot and maintain smooth flow from raw milk to cream. This role is based in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Qualifications

• HTST system understanding and operation knowledge.
• Follow GMPs and safety procedures.
• Ability to work with maintenance and state inspectors during audits.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe workplace and contact lead or supervisor for safety issues.
• Maintain legible and accurate documentation on charts.
• Verify seals; report broken/missing seals to supervisor or QA.
• Print CIP records after washing and verify temperature, flow, titration, and time trends; swab if needed.
• Perform cut in/out validation prior to production and document clearly on chart.
• Understand product flow from Raw Milk Silo to maturation tank and from cream to cream silo to aid troubleshooting.
• Understand operation of reverse osmosis membrane system and whey flow management.
• Start up and shut down the Whey RO system and CIP processes.
• Pull samples for QA testing of Butterfat and communicate out-of-spec results.
• Coordinate with KDB, Starter Room, and fruit room for tote needs and sterilization.
• Troubleshoot with leads and maintenance to resolve issues.
