Job summary

Maola Local Dairies in High Point, NC is seeking an HTST Operator to ensure pasteurization, homogenization, and quality control in dairy production. The role operates 2nd shift, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with occasional half shifts on Saturdays, under supervision of the Production Supervisor.

You will batch, pasteurize, monitor processes, follow HACCP and GMP policies, and maintain equipment with emphasis on safety, sanitation, and accuracy. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing or food processing experience preferred.
• Prior HTST experience preferred.
• Ability to read production schedules, thermometers, gauges, and flow meters.
• Basic math and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Batch and pasteurize in the production of finished dairy goods.
• Monitor dairy production process and follow SOPs; report deficiencies.
• Operate and troubleshoot HTST pasteurizer equipment.
• Follow batching schedule; use batch sheets as formulation source.
• Maintain sanitation; CIP/SIP and general housekeeping.
• Document system verification and maintain paperwork.
• Monitor water flush systems and air blows to maximize butterfat recovery.
