Job Summary –

We are seeking a dedicated Developer with HTML CSS coding skills along with in-depth knowledge of Accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG 2.0/2.1, WAI-ARIA, UAAG, ATAG). The candidate should have experience with accessibility evaluation tools such as Chrome accessibility developer tools, Ally, Axe, Inspect, and WAI toolbar.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Conduct accessibility compliance audits and testing of websites, mobile applications, and documents using WCAG 2.0 guidelines or Section 508 standards.
2. Perform accessibility analysis on wireframes or mock-ups to identify potential violations.
3. Prepare detailed reports documenting violations with suggested solutions, including code examples.
4. Develop documentation and training materials for internal teams.
5. Report accessibility efforts to senior management and stakeholders.
6. Provide assistive technology guidance for clients or staff with disabilities.
7. Collaborate with software development and QA teams to ensure WCAG compliance and address defects.
8. Guide and consult on meeting accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 Level AA, WAI-ARIA, Section 508) and best practices for web, mobile, and document accessibility.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
• Knowledge of disability law such as ADA and Section 504.
• Experience with accessibility evaluation tools.
• Experience teaching or training users on assistive technologies.
• Experience with multi-device interaction (iPad, iPhone, Android) is a plus.

Certifications Needed: Any ADA-related certification.
