Job summary

Mayo Clinic HTM Laboratory Technology Technician position focuses on the upkeep of biomedical, laboratory, imaging equipment and patient care systems. You will implement a comprehensive maintenance plan, calibrate and repair devices, and respond to service calls to ensure operational readiness.

Travel domestically and internationally for vendor training, with an initial team setup on two shifts. The role is limited-tenure to support formation, launch, and stabilization of a new lab, with

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in biomedical electronics/Healthcare Technology Management, electronics, mechatronics, engineering; or related military training.
• HS diploma with 3 years related experience in maintaining medical equipment or medical systems.
• For lab roles: degree in medical/clinical laboratory science or related field and experience maintaining lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medical, clinical equipment and systems per Mayo Clinic plan.
• Plan, install, calibrate, repair biomedical, laboratory, imaging equipment and patient care systems.
• Prioritize service calls and adhere to Mayo policy and procedures.
• Respond to on-call and possible overtime and travel to Mayo sites or vendor training.
• Develop mastery of increasingly complex equipment to support Mayo's mission.
