Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an HTM Technician to maintain medical and laboratory equipment, following the Mayo Clinic Medical Equipment Management Plan. You will demonstrate technical, mechanical, and customer-focused skills while supporting high-complexity systems.

Role includes travel for vendor training domestically and internationally; early assignments may involve Europe for up to three weeks. A strong background in biomedical electronics or related fields is required, with progressive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Electronics/Healthcare Technology Management, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Engineering and 3 years of related experience; or an Associate’s degree and 5 years of related experience; or U.S. Military training with 5 years of related experience.
• Laboratory or Research positions require Associate degree or higher in medical/clinical laboratory science, medical technology, or related science fields with a minimum of 5 years supporting laboratory equipment and 5 years in a service or field service role.
• Vendor training and knowledge of test/QA tools, along with familiarity with safety around hazards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medical, clinical equipment and systems through effective implementation of Mayo Clinic Medical Equipment Management Plan.
• Prioritize service calls and adhere to Mayo policy and procedure.
• Travel domestically and internationally for vendor-specific training; first year Europe trip up to 3 weeks; additional travel as needed.
