Job summary

Munson Healthcare Imaging seeks a skilled HTM Imaging Specialist to maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair diagnostic imaging equipment across the system. You will support equipment performance, patient safety, and regulatory compliance while expanding expertise across modalities.

Collaborate with Radiology, OEMs, and service teams to resolve issues, reduce downtime, and document work in CMMS. Requires 2 years hands‑on tech service and an associated degree; CRES preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or military/factory radiology training required.
• 2 years hands‑on biomedical equipment repair or imaging service experience.
• OEM or modality‑specific imaging training; must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description

A Day in the Life

• The HTM Imaging Specialist supports the maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of diagnostic imaging equipment across Munson Healthcare. This role requires a strong foundation in biomedical/imaging equipment service, electronics, imaging service, military or factory technical training, OEM training, or related hands-on technical service work. The position supports equipment performance, patient and staff safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable clinical operations while developing additional expertise across imaging modalities.


• Works closely with Radiology, clinical teams, HTM colleagues, OEMs, and third-party service providers to resolve equipment issues, reduce downtime, document service activity, and support safe, effective patient care.

Qualifications

What’s Required

• Associate’s degree in biomedical technology or electronics technology OR be military or factory trained in radiology equipment service.


• 2 years experience in biomedical equipment repair, imaging service, electronics repair, field service, or related hands‑on technical service work.


• OEM Training, Independent Imaging Training, or Modality-Specific Imaging Service Training - Required or must be obtained within one (1) year of hire.


• Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) preferred


• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical systems, use common electrical test equipment, follow technical documentation, and document work accurately in a CMMS.


• Experience servicing imaging equipment such as general radiology/fluoroscopy, portable units, C-arms, digital X-ray detectors, mammography, CT, MRI, DSA, nuclear medicine, cardiac catheterization labs, ultrasound, or imaging systems networking preferred.
