Job summary

Munson Healthcare in northern Michigan is seeking an experienced Biomed Technician III to repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment across our facilities. This role requires CBET certification and CMMS data reporting.

Under minimal supervision, you will support hospital operations, participate in preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment readiness while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology or military trained in biomedical equipment service.
• 4 years experience in healthcare biomedical equipment repair and calibration.
• Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) — must obtain within 1 year if not already.

Responsibilities

A Day inthe Life

A high skilled Biomed with 4years’ experience and CBET or CHTM certification. Under minimal supervision, HTM Tech III’s will provide expert-level experience in the repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment. BMET III’s are expected to be proficient in CMMS equipment data reporting and management.
