Job summary

NextDecade is seeking a seasoned Manager, HSSE to provide subject matter expertise in management system administration, compliance assurance, occupational health programs, crisis and emergency management, audits and assessments, and performance improvement initiatives.

The role partners with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Construction, and Corporate functions to strengthen regulatory compliance and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years related progressive experience in HSSE.
• HSSE-related certifications such as CSP, OHST, CSHO, CHST, ASP or other relevant credentials.
• Incident command system training (ICS 100-400). Travel to Brownsville, TX up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSSE management system governance and assurance.
• Support audits, assessments and corrective actions.
• Investigate significant HSSE incidents and drive learning and improvement.
• Support emergency response planning, crisis management and exercises.
