Paulo-2 is seeking a Corporate Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability (HSES) Engineer to develop and manage safety, environmental, and sustainability programs across locations. You will work with the EHS Manager and plant leadership to advance safety performance and regulatory compliance.

The role includes audits, incident investigations, training, and preparation of regulatory reports. Opportunities exist to grow into leadership roles; occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in EH&S activities, preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, DHS, and other regulations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions.
• Ability to manage projects and deadlines independently and in teams.

Responsabilités

• Support safety, environmental, and sustainability needs for Paulo.
• Develop and promote safety culture across locations.
• Monitor and report KPIs to improve HSES performance.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance reviews; identify risks and improvements.
• Assist with environmental plans, permits, procedures, and SOPs for facilities.
• Investigate incidents and coordinate corrective actions with leadership.
• Provide training programs and content for safety and environmental compliance.
• Prepare reports for OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulators.
• Travel as required; liaise with agencies, consultants, and auditors.
