Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an HSE Technician to support health, safety, and environmental programs at Primoris Energy Services in Haskell, Texas. You will promote a strong safety culture and assist in risk management, site inspections, and training.

The role requires 2+ years in HSE, strong OSHA knowledge, and the ability to travel to multiple sites. Proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
• 2+ years in an HSE role, preferably in energy or construction.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to conduct effective safety training and presentations.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and environmental data.
• Participate in the development and review of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and other risk assessment tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Monitor and manage environmental aspects such as waste disposal, emissions, and spills.
• Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
• Collaborate with management and employees to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Support the implementation of company-wide HSE initiatives and best practices.
