Job summary

GAS Energy Staffing LLC is seeking a HSES Specialist to provide technical HSE support for plant turnarounds and projects across the United States and Canada. The role focuses on contractor safety management, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, audits, and continuous improvement in HSE programs.

Responsibilities include supporting TAR and project schedules, coordinating with managers, and acting as a technical HSE resource during activities. Travel may be required to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE or STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of HSE operations experience.
• Advanced understanding of compliance standards.
• Advanced understanding of risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Experience with confined space entry, energy isolation, fall protection, and process safety.
• Experience working with multiple contractors on site projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides HSE support during plant turnarounds and projects.
• Performs contractor safety management reviews.
• Reviews plans and specifications for safety compliance.
• Responds to emergencies with HSE assistance.
• Participates in HAZOP, FMEAs, and MOC reviews.
• Collaborates with project managers to ensure timely HSE support.
