Job summary

HydroExcavators, LLC seeks an experienced HSE & Q Professional to anticipate hazards, evaluate risk, and advise on compliance with safety, health, environmental and quality standards. You will join a team of HSE professionals and support field operations across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes hazard analyses, incident investigations, PPE management, and coordination with IT and field staff to uphold OSHA/EPA guidelines and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in natural gas distribution operations.
• Understanding of DOT/FMSCA and utility damage prevention.
• Ability to work unsupervised and travel to varied sites.
• Degree or 5+ years utility experience.
• Technical knowledge of utilities infrastructure and safety systems.
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• OQ Evaluator for ITS, Veriforce, EWN, AGL issues or coordinate PPE distribution.
• Inventory and maintenance of PPE supply and field items.
• Assist field personnel in resolving safety-related matters (Samsara, SafetyCulture, Saba).
• Perform field inspections.
• Investigate field injuries and 'Stop Work Authority' incidents.
• Attend bi-weekly safety meetings and HR meetings.
• Perform OQs in the field as needed.
• Coordinate with IT for CDL operators and CCTV Foreman equipment access and logging.
• Collaborate with regions for training and required documentation.
