Job summary

Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Health Safety Environmental (HSE) Specialist to support HSE programs across our operations, including chemical plants, laboratories, farms, fabrication shop and the corporate office.

You will lead facility HSE assessments, coordinate medical monitoring programs, develop procedures, deliver training, investigate incidents, and help ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA compliance across sites. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Safety, Science, Engineering, or HSE-related discipline.
• Ability to analyze regulations and assist facilities with compliance strategies.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and NFPA regulations and applicable state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead periodic HSE assessments of facilities to identify hazards and gaps; recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate occupational medical monitoring, training programs, incident management and action-tracking.
• Lead or support HSE training and development of procedures; contribute to corporate-wide HSE initiatives.
• Support Process Safety Management initiatives and environmental reporting (Tier II, TRI, Hazardous Waste, Air Emissions).
• Assist investigations and root-cause analyses; participate in Central Reporting Group meetings.
