Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking an HSE Specialist II for the Building Division in Goodyear, AZ. You will coordinate, implement and monitor health, safety and environmental processes at project locations, provide training, and lead safety improvements across complex projects.

Responsibilities include conducting EHS assessments, coordinating subcontractor EHS protocols, investigating incidents, and administering safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic comprehensive EHS assessments and recommend corrective measures.
• Provide EHS training and education to personnel; update materials as needed.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and coordinate project EHS programs with subcontractors.
• Conduct accident investigations and complete incident reporting for PM review.
• Establish hospital and clinical care facilities for each project and accompany injured employees to treatment.
• Advise on Industrial Hygiene protocols; perform Environmental Monitoring.
