Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an HSE Specialist to coordinate health, safety and environmental programs across our Building Division projects.

You will conduct EHS assessments, provide training, and supervise subcontractor safety protocols to minimize risks. Strong communication and leadership are essential as you support incident investigations and wellness initiatives on site. Travel for project support and SPAT coordination may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher; degree preferred.
• 3 years in construction safety.
• Travel required.
• Physically capable to climb stairs/ramps.
• OSHA 30 preferred; First Aid/CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EHS assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and training.
• Investigate accidents and report incidents.
• Establish hospital/clinical facilities for projects.
• Administer Drug-Free Workplace policy and testing.
• Provide weekly safety updates to leadership.
• Lead orientation of project employees to EHS practices.
• Support SPAT process on projects.
