Tropicana Brands Group is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Resource Specialist to support the Fort Pierce Supply Chain site. You will implement Tropicana EHS policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive safety improvements daily.

The role requires onsite presence, collaboration across functions, and the ability to manage hazards, training, and incident investigations while aligning with the company’s objectives for safety and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or 3+ years of EHS experience.
• Strong problem solving, organizational and analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute the site’s annual EHS Plan, including development of budgets.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental permits and regulatory requirements.
• Build site resources capability to support EHS programming.
• Manage site-wide system processes to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Interface with OSHA, EPA, and State/Local regulators.
• Facilitate site-wide EHS training plans and reviews of equipment/process changes.
• Ensure permits are obtained, reports submitted, and permit conditions met.
• Support Tropicana Security as needed.
• Tackle ambiguous problems to drive business strategies and transformation.
• Lead and influence across functions to achieve safety improvements.

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

We are looking to add an Environmental, Health and Safety Resource Specialist to support our Supply Chain team. This role will be responsible forimplementing the Tropicana EHS policies and procedures across the location.Additionally, this role will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements at the location.Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include:

• Implement and execute of the site’s annual EHS Plan, including development of expense and capital budgets needed to support these efforts.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental permits.
• Build capability of site resources to support implementation of EHS programming.
• Manage site-wide system, Program Owner process, to identify and evaluate hazards (risks), and implement effective controls (corrective solutions).
• Lead incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans.
• Interface with regulatory bodies (OSHA, EPA, State/Local Regulators).
• Facilitate the completion of a site wide annual EHS training plan.
• Participate in formal EHS reviews of existing equipment modifications, new equipment purchases, and changes in site processes.
• Ensure that required regulatory permits are acquired, that reports are submitted to regulatory agencies, and any site permit conditions (e.g., sampling, recordkeeping) are met.
• Support the Tropicana Security team as needed
• Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies
• Demonstrated ability to implement short- and long-term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation
• Lead, influence, and collaborate across functions to drive results through formal and informal channels

• This role is site based and must be onsite daily
• Able to flex shifts as needed to accommodate business needs
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in a related degree or 3 + years of EHS experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be located in Ft. Pierce, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
• Willingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana manufacturing plant in Ft. Pierce
• Travel up to 5%
