Job summary

Sysco Minnesota, Inc. seeks an experienced HSE leader to drive health, safety and environmental programs across the OpCo. You will develop strategy, implement plans, and lead incident investigations to reduce injuries and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role calls for 5-7 years in safety/ environmental roles, CSP certification, and a strong ability to influence leadership and drive change within a distribution environment. Local travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certifications with equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of hands-on environmental and safety experience in warehousing/ distribution/ manufacturing/ transportation operations.
• CSP certification or working toward certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of health, safety and environmental (HSE) and security program.
• Develop HSE strategy aligned with Sysco’s goals and drive KPI-driven improvements.
• Communicate HSE objectives to Senior Leadership and train management on core competencies.
• Oversee audits, incidents, and corrective actions to reduce risk and improve compliance.
• Interface with OSHA, DOT, EPA and state/local regulators and manage regulatory permits.
