Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join the Hot Section Engineering (HSE) GTF team. The role involves developing plans, schedules, and budgets with the IPT to ensure successful lifecycle management from validation testing to engineering changes.

Candidates must be able to coordinate across procurement, manufacturing, and validation groups while maintaining effective communication with CIPT and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with project management and planning including budget/schedule management and toolsets (e.g., Agile, SAP, Primavera, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the IPT.
• Support schedule management, risk management, and execution of program requirements.
• Track project progress and communicate status to the CIPT and management.
• Facilitate project tasks with cross-functional teams (procurement, manufacturing, validation) to align with objectives.
• Manage hardware and validation activities for the IPT, including hardware delivery and validation/testing.
