Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney Hot Section Engineering team in East Hartford is seeking a Project Engineer to support IPT/CIPT life-cycle activities from validation to engineering changes and production support. This onsite role requires collaboration across functions.

You will develop plans, schedules, budgets, manage risk, and communicate progress to leadership. A STEM degree and at least two years of relevant engineering experience are required, with strong communication skills and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets with the IPT.
• Support schedule and risk management to meet program requirements.
• Track progress and report status to CIPT and management.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, validation, and other functions.
