Job summary

Artera seeks an HSE Professional to anticipate hazards in gas distribution and advise on compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. You will evaluate risks, support field teams, and drive safety initiatives across operations.

Responsibilities include field inspections, PPE coordination, incident investigations, and ongoing safety training. Collaboration with IT and operations is essential to ensure safe and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in natural gas distribution operations and procedures.
• Understanding of DOT/FMSCA and utility damage prevention requirements.
• Degree in occupational safety or utility experience (5+ years).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and coordinate PPE distribution and field equipment.
• Assist field personnel in safety matters using tools (Samsara, SafetyCulture, Saba).
• Conduct field inspections and investigate injuries and Stop Work Authority incidents.
• Attend bi-weekly safety meetings and HR meetings; perform field OQ's as needed.
• Coordinate with IT to provide CDL operators and CCTV Foreman with equipment.
