Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years utility experience or equivalent safety background.
• Experience with natural gas distribution operations.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMSCA rules and utility damage prevention.
• Ability to work unsupervised and travel to various sites.
• Valid work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety for water, sewer, and gas distribution work.
• Coach and train employees in safe practices.
• Participate in pre-job briefings.
• Evaluate work practices for improvements.
• Inspect excavations, confined spaces, and job site hazards.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to manage return-to-work.
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis.
