Job summary

Nemak Spain SL. is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to develop and implement plant safety programs and conduct risk assessments. You will review and update HSE policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO standards.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of managerial HSE experience, with strong knowledge of manufacturing practices and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in MS Office and reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related required.
• 5+ years' manager level HSE experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing practices, regulatory agency requirements and industry standards.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs.
• OSHA 10 & 30 trained; OSHA 500, ASP, and CSP a plus.
• Strong skills in Risk Assessment and ISO Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Developing Safety Management Policies - evaluate workplace and define safety responsibilities for all employees.
• Coordinating Training Programs across the organization to maintain awareness and preparedness.
• Investigating Workplace Incidents, determining causes and recommending preventive actions.
• Preparing monthly reports and presenting to senior administrators.
