Job summary

Nemak USA, Inc. in Dickson, Tennessee seeks an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead plant safety programs and risk assessments. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and strong knowledge of applicable safety standards.

Lead policy development, training, incident investigations, and monthly safety reporting. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, regulatory compliance, and continuous safety improvements within a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5+ years' manager-level HSE experience.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing practices, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• OSHA 10 & 30 trained; OSHA 500, ASP, CSP a plus.
• Strong skills in risk assessment and ISO management systems.
• Strong computer and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing Safety Management Policies - evaluate the workplace and define safety responsibilities; assess business activities and staffing.
• Coordinating Training Programs - coordinate safety training to maintain awareness and preparedness.
• Investigating Workplace Incidents - investigate incidents, identify causes, and recommend preventive actions; ensure tools meet OSHA standards.
