Job summary

TMS International is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager for our Decatur, AL location. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in industrial safety management, a strong knowledge of OSHA standards, and proven abilities in implementing safety programs.

The role includes responsibilities such as monitoring compliance, investigating incidents, and promoting a safety culture within the organization. We offer competitive benefits and a salary range of $85,000-$90,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management.
• Proven ability to develop effective safety programs.
• Management experience preferred: 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Administer attendance and safety incentives monthly.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA and relevant laws.
• Investigate accidents and recommend improvements.
• Promote a safety culture and enhance safety awareness.

Skills

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations

Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

Ability to develop and implement effective safety programs

Strong teamwork and work ethics

Education

Associates Degree or 3 years experience managing industrial safety program

Bachelors in an ABET accredited Safety program (preferred)
