Chart, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager at the New Iberia, LA facility to oversee safety compliance and implement ISO 14001/ISO 45001 safety programs.

You will collect site data, drive trend analyses, and lead safety teams across multiple shifts in a heavy manufacturing environment. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of related experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years related experience; equivalent combination.
• Safety experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees safety compliance across multiple locations.
• Implements and maintains ISO 14001 Environmental System & OSHAS 18001/ISO 45001 Safety System.
• Collects data from all locations and performs trend analysis with corrective actions.
• Manages Safety Technicians on multiple shifts.
• Participates as an internal safety/environmental compliance auditor for global operations.
• Conducts audits, accident investigations, and site inspections of procedures, facilities, equipment, and materials.
• Leads division and local safety committees; maintains records tracking injuries.
• Monitors safety standards per OSHA and state regulations; inspects equipment for safety devices.
• Assists with testing and servicing safety equipment and systems.
• Trains all employees according to OSHA/DEQ/EPA guidelines.
• Conducts environmental inspections and training.
• This position is safety sensitive; observes safety protocols.
• Moderate travel is required.

Formação académica

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
