Mubea in Florence, KY seeks a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to promote HS&E awareness and support plant units through effective communication and administration of HS&E programs, processes and procedures. This role will learn all aspects of plant safety to help drive the safety culture.

Responsibilities include monitoring compliance, communicating policies, managing Workers’ Compensation, and maintaining environmental records.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in HS&E or related field required or preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing or operations.
• ISO 14001 knowledge required.
• OSHA knowledge required.

Aufgaben

• Monitor HS&E compliance regulations and provide technical support to HS&E team and plant management.
• Understand federal, state HS&E regulations.
• Communicate HS&E policies to management and employees.
• Manage Workers’ Compensation Program.
• Retain environmental records for storm water and air quality.
• Daily safety and environmental tracking.
• Administer ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems.
• Review safety committee minutes and audit reports; follow up.
• Review investigation reports and take corrective actions.
• Prepare EH&S documents and communications.
• Coordinate EH&S training.
• Participate in safety meetings and audits.
• Identify and resolve safety issues.
• Interface with suppliers, vendors and visitors as needed.
