Job summary

Babcock International is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to lead a team of HSE Advisors across our Mission Technologies business. The role focuses on embedding a proactive safety culture, guiding strategic safety decisions and improving health, safety and environmental performance, with opportunities for career growth within a global engineering and technology organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE/EHS) role.
• Experience leading, developing and managing teams of HSE/EHS professionals.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and best practice.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Health, Safety and Environmental Advisors.
• Provide expert advice to managers and employees on HSE matters.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance compliance and safety performance.
• Conduct audits, inspections, incident investigations and risk reduction activities.
• Build relationships with regulators and industry bodies to promote best practice.
