Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial safety management.
• Associates Degree or 3 years experience managing an industrial safety program.
• Bachelor's degree in an ABET accredited safety program preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and related safety standards.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety programs and training.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Team player with strong work ethic.
• Preferred: 2 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers monthly attendance and safety incentives.
• Supports company policies, dress codes, work rules and ethics.
• Supports day-to-day operation of the EH&S program.
• Monitors and documents compliance with OSHA, federal, state and local laws.
• Investigates accidents and incidents, prepares detailed reports and recommends improvements.
• Prepares required reports to corporate headquarters.
• Collaborates with management to promote safety culture and awareness.
• Maintains library of safety and environmental documentation and revises as needed.
• Documents and monitors prevention training and reporting on accidents.
