Job summary

Walsh Group seeks an experienced HSE Manager for its Building Division in Northlake, IL. You will develop and implement site-specific EHS plans, coordinate with subcontractors, conduct audits, and manage incident investigations to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

The role requires a CHST or related degree, 5+ years in construction EHS, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel. Salary range $90,000–$140,000 plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equiv. CHST certification required.
• Minimum 5 years in construction EHS field.
• Knowledge of regulations and hazard recognition.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific EHS plans with project teams.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and audits.
• Conduct accident investigations and incident reporting.
• Lead EHS training and orientation for personnel.
• Monitor compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
