Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an HSE Manager to lead safety initiatives across two Wisconsin sites, Appleton and Neenah, with occasional travel across North America. You will develop metrics, drive a behavior-based safety culture, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a minimum 5 years in HSE within manufacturing, strong OSHA knowledge, and the ability to influence stakeholders from shop floor to executive levels. Direct hire with competitive benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on HSE experience will be considered in place of a specific degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HSE experience, with a track record as a change agent.
• Manufacturing or industrial background preferred.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations is a plus.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, up and down the organization
• A proactive mindset, you spot problems before they become incidents
• Professional HSE certification is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and report on key safety metrics, including reductions in serious injuries, testing completion and scores, and improvements in operational risk.
• Build a behavior-based HSE program that aligns with broader organizational goals.
• Keep the organization compliant with company and government safety policies.
• Coach and collaborate with stakeholders at every level to build real ownership of safety, not just compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards proactively, and design interventions that get at the root cause when something does go wrong.
