Job summary

Cinterra is seeking an HSE Coordinator to lead safety inspections, training, and regulatory compliance across departments. You will assess hazards, investigate incidents, and develop corrective actions to reduce risk in field operations.

Requires a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience, knowledge of OSHA/DOT/EPA standards, and strong communication skills for coaching teams in safety practices. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; field work and lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of work experience.
• Knowledge of utility construction industry standards.
• Knowledge of safety laws, regulations, and industry codes.
• Ability to communicate clearly and influence safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on regulatory compliance for safety, health, and environmental laws.
• Inspect facilities, tools, equipment, and processes for hazards and compliance with OSHA/DOT/Cinterra standards.
• Assist in investigations of safety incidents, injuries, or illnesses to determine root causes.
• Develop corrective actions and mitigation measures to reduce recurring hazards.
• Conduct or facilitate safety training and education programs for supervisors and field staff.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with safety training policies.
