Safran Aerosystems is seeking an experienced HSE & Facilities Engineer for our Van Nuys, CA site. As the local focal point, you will implement and continuously improve the HSE management system while overseeing Facilities activities, reporting to a manager in Atlanta and coordinating with global HSE.

The role demands independence and strong communication across stakeholders. You will lead risk assessments, drive action plans, and ensure Safran HSE standards are applied locally.

Qualifications

• Educational background in HSE or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and environmental processes.
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies.
• English proficiency; Spanish a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing or aerospace is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Drive continuous improvement of the HSE management system through risk assessments and action plans.
• Lead HSE projects and integrate requirements early in design.
• Coordinate audits and follow-up on action plans.
• Monitor HSE performance indicators and report results.
• Oversee Facilities activities including building and infrastructure maintenance.
• Support site security and share best practices with Safran sites.
