Job summary

Tejas Production Services designs, fabricates, and services oil and gas production and processing equipment, with a hands-on HSE leadership role based at the Victoria, TX facility. The HSE Manager will own the established program, ensure regulatory compliance, and keep policies current while promoting a safe work environment.

The role reports to the COO and requires collaboration with manufacturing, quality, field service, and divisional leadership across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HSE experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, or heavy industrial fabrication environments.
• 2+ years owning or leading a site-level safety program, including direct responsibility for OSHA recordkeeping and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience administering ISNetworld and Veriforce (or comparable customer compliance platforms).
• Working knowledge of OSHA general industry and construction standards, DOT/FMCSA requirements, incident investigation methods, and the Hierarchy of Controls.
• Familiarity with ASME shop environments, pressure vessel fabrication, overhead crane operations, and field service work.
• Experience overseeing preventive maintenance and inspection programs for manufacturing equipment and vehicle fleets is a plus.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and build credibility with shop floor personnel, supervisors, and executive leadership.
• Comfortable working in Microsoft Office and web-based compliance and tracking systems; organized and detail-oriented with documentation.
