Barnes Group Inc. is seeking a Health Safety Environmental Intern - Co-Op for a part-time, on-site role in Ogden, Utah.

You will support the development and implementation of HSE processes, help protect employees, and contribute to training and incident investigations as part of a dynamic manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and be enrolled in an accredited related degree program
• Prefer at least 1.5 years of remaining coursework
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with MS Office applications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing HSE processes for risk control and regulatory compliance
• Support implementation and maintenance of HSE procedures to protect employees and prevent incidents
• Conduct job safety analyses and other assessments, recommending corrective actions
• Perform required safety training (HazCom, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, Ergonomics, etc.)
• Assist in incident investigations and prepare EH&S reports (air emissions, waste, storm water, Tier II)
• Support industrial hygiene assessments and site-level HSE training
• Assist in ergonomic assessments and corrective action development
• Ensure subcontractors participate in Contractor HSE program and verify trainings
• Perform other duties as assigned
