Job summary

Motion is looking for a motivated Build Shop Technician in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will assemble hydraulic and electric assemblies, operate test equipment, and prepare orders for shipping.

This is an opportunity for a motivated and talented candidate to grow with a great team and a very successful company.**JOB DUTIES:*** Build hydraulic and electrical customer assemblies* Operate Hydraulic Test Stand for functional tests as required* Receive and put away inventory* Prepare orders for shipment (packing, palletizing, etc.)* Interact with computer system to generate inventory pick lists, process orders, shipping, and manage upcoming orders **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:** High School diploma or equivalent**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:*** Mechanical aptitude* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings* Attention to detail* Fluid power experience a plus* Work consists of standing at a workbench most of the day* Familiarity with common office software applications (Outlook, Word, etc.)* Willingness to learn and develop new skills as required **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** Requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and multi-limb coordination.
