Job summary

Prospect Ridge Academy is seeking a High School Assistant Track & Field Coach (Sprints/Jumps) to develop student-athletes under the guidance of the Head Coach and Athletic Director. The role involves organizing pre-season meetings, supervising practices and trips, and enforcing program policies within CHSAA and district guidelines.

The position is seasonal with a stipend ($3,030–$3,408 per season) and offers a comprehensive benefits package including insurance options, retirement contributions

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as rules, policy, rubrics and assessment documents.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of staff, students, Board of Directors, Administrators and parents.
• Ability to understand and carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in the fundamental skills and training necessary for individual and team success.
• Organize pre-season meetings with parents, coaches, and players.
• Supervise practices, games, and team trips; maintain equipment and uniforms.
