Job Summary

Instructs students in the fundamental skills of track and field sprints. Creates an environment conducive to personal development through observation, evaluation, emphasizing teamwork, and guiding each student athlete. Develops sport‑specific drills and practice activities to enhance team performance, including exercises, game plans, and teaching training rules to each player. Motivates students to excel academically and athletically, maintains a positive image for the school and team, and engages in trips, events, pep rallies, and school meetings.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Familiar with the rules and regulations of the sport/activity
• Experience as an athlete and/or coach
• Work closely with program Head Coach
• Ability to motivate, teach, and lead
• Energetic, responsible, dependable, self‑motivated and punctual
• Excellent public‑relations skills and ability to work effectively with staff, parents and administration
• Experience working with teens and willingness to supervise on trips, camps and competitions
