Job summary

Woodland Park School District RE-2 seeks a high school track coach to organize and supervise a comprehensive program, coordinate practice schedules, allocate resources, ensure safety, and mentor student-athletes toward athletic excellence and character development.

The ideal candidate will have proven coaching experience in track, strong technical knowledge of the sport, familiarity with CHSAA rules, and current CPR/First Aid certification; high jumper expertise, ability to teach form, and

Qualifications

• Has proven coaching experience in track.
• Substantial knowledge of technical aspects of the sport and willingness to explore new theories and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise the athletic program across the season.
• Serve as a role model through instructions and actions.
• Adhere to CHSAA rules and regulations.
• Coach high jump with emphasis on technique and mechanics.
• Teach proper form, progression, and adjustments; communicate effectively with athletes and staff.
