Job summary

Cherry Hills Community Church is seeking a High School Director to lead spiritual formation and pastoral care for 9th–12th graders. You will supervise programming, coordinate with the Student Ministries Pastor, and cultivate ministry environments that empower students, families, and volunteers through Christ-centered leadership.

You will train volunteers, develop curriculum, and oversee events while maintaining CHCC’s doctrinal alignment and healthy delegation within the Student Ministry team.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in student ministry with teaching and leadership responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent ministry preparation for pastoral/teaching duties.
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with students, parents and volunteers in a church setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and pastoral care for high school students through teaching, prayer, mentoring, and relational presence.
• Teach Scripture through messages, Bible studies, and small groups aligned with CHCC doctrine.
• Lead high school ministry programming, including Sunday services and midweek gatherings, with the team.
• Recruit, train, and shepherd high school volunteers and interns to foster a healthy culture of discipleship.
• Develop and implement curriculum and spiritual content under leadership direction.
• Plan and evaluate ministry events such as retreats, camps, service projects, and seasonal experiences.
