Job summary

Cherry Hills Community Church is seeking a Next Gen Worship Leader to provide pastoral and musical leadership for student worship, recruit and develop student volunteers, and collaborate across ministries to create cohesive worship experiences.

The role involves planning sets, coaching musicians, and partnering with Worship and Next Gen teams to foster a Christ-centered worship culture within CHCC.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading congregational worship vocally and instrumentally on guitar or piano.
• Experience working with students or developing volunteers through coaching, mentoring, or ministry leadership.
• Working knowledge of Planning Center or demonstrated ability to use a comparable worship planning platform.
• Experience planning worship sets, preparing rehearsals, and coordinating musicians and service elements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with ministry, worship, and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship regularly in Student Ministry gatherings and other CHCC environments.
• Provide pastoral leadership, prayer, and spiritual guidance to student worship volunteers.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop student worship volunteers.
• Plan and prepare student worship sets aligned with biblical teaching and ministry objectives.
• Lead vocally and instrumentally on guitar or piano to support congregational worship.
