Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise athletic activities, contests and practice sessions to promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect and good sportsmanship.
• Work with other staff to plan instructional goals and objectives to ensure the overall education development of student athletes.
• Ensure coaches work together toward a common goal within the tennis program and coordinate with feeder schools.
• Schedule competitions and coordinate arrangements with the Athletic Director and Athletic Coordinator.
• Apply and enforce student discipline during athletic contests, practice sessions and trips in line with the Student Code of Conduct and handbook.
• Display and encourage sportsmanlike conduct in all phases of athletic participation.
• Establish and maintain open communication by conferencing with parents, students, principals, teachers, Athletic Coordinator and Director of Athletics.
• Maintain inventory of fixed assets within the program.
• Oversee cleaning, repairs and storage of campus athletic equipment as related to sport.
• Work under the direction and supervision of the Athletics Director and Principal.
• Willingness to spend afternoon and evening hours as required for team activities.

Job Expectations
