Red Bank Regional High School is seeking a dedicated High School Engineering Teacher to join our STEM department, inspiring students to explore engineering and develop practical skills for technology careers.

Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, teaching engineering concepts with hands-on methods, integrating software and equipment, mentoring students in projects and competitions, and collaborating with staff to enhance cross-disciplinary learning.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Teaching Certification in Engineering Technology (or CTE).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Education, or related field a plus.
• Familiarity with industry certifications or partnerships (e.g., Project Lead The Way).
• Knowledge of the engineering design process.
• Experience teaching or working with high school students.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students to pursue careers in STEM fields.
• Experience in project-based learning and team-based projects.
• Ability to integrate computer programming and software applications into engineering curriculum.
• Experience with competitive engineering clubs.

Salary is contingent upon the RBREA negotiated contract. Full time staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription, and Dental benefits. Sick, Personal, and Bereavement days are included.
