Job summary

St. Rose High School in Belmar, New Jersey is seeking a passionate and innovative Engineering Teacher to join our faculty in a Catholic, college‑prep environment.

This full‑time, contracted role teaches engineering and STEM coursework to grades 9–12, designs hands‑on lessons that promote inquiry and design thinking, and mentors students pursuing engineering careers while supporting the school’s mission. Collaboration with colleagues to expand PLTW or related curricula is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology Education, STEM Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience teaching engineering or STEM at the high school level preferred.
• Familiarity with Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach engineering and STEM coursework to grades 9–12.
• Design hands-on learning experiences promoting inquiry and design thinking.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity and collaboration.
• Support continued growth of engineering and STEM programming at the school.
• Integrate project-based learning and interdisciplinary approaches.
• Mentor students pursuing engineering or STEM careers.
