BridgePrep Academy Village Green in Miami, FL seeks a dedicated 9th–10th Grade English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and support student growth through data-driven coaching.

The role requires a Florida teaching certificate (Grades 6–12) or eligibility, a Bachelor’s degree in English or related field, and a commitment to college-ready outcomes in a technologically enriched classroom with language integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Secondary Education, Language Arts, or related field.
Florida Teaching Certificate in English (Grades 6–12) or eligible.
Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening clearance.
Preferred ESOL/Reading Endorsements; Master’s degree; prior secondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging secondary ELA lessons focused on literary analysis, structured writing, rhetoric, and state standards mastery.
Maintain a structured, respectful classroom environment; differentiate instruction for ESE, 504, and ELL scholars through required accommodations.
Participate in weekly coaching and PD; submit lesson plans and student data on time; maintain regular family communication.
